The half marathon runners at PNB MetLife Satara Hill Half Maraton 2017 can we look forward to achieving their targeted finish time with the help of experienced runners who have volunteered to be the Pacers for the 21.097 km disctance. You will be able to identify a pacer by the flag which will be carrying, specifying the time within which he expects to cross the finish mat.

This year we are calling our pacers as Shiledars. Shiledar was a term used for a soldier's position, particularly in India's Maratha Empire (1630-1818) and especially during the reign of king Shivaji. The word Shiledar means "a soldier who leads the group of warriors during war", much like our pacers who will lead the runners in their bus to their goal.

Pacing App: Runners also have an option to download and use our unique PACING APP, which has inbuilt virtual pacers to help you to your targeted finish time. This app is specifically designed for the SHHM route.

Note: Please note that Pacing is a voluntary act. Neither the pacer nor the organisers can be held responsible if the pacer is unable to complete his race within the specified time or unable to start the race due to any reason.
